Writing courses

Writing courses for Engineers

The writing courses support Engineers in excelling in their writing. The focus is on aspects of writing that help to meet Cambridge standards and reviewer expectations: structure, logical flow, the effective development of ideas, accuracy and critical analysis.

Each participant will prepare a written piece of work (paper or chapter of a dissertation or report) during the course and will receive detailed feedback at the end of the course in the form of an individual supervision. The end product can be used as a model for further individual writing.

Sign up for a course requires commitment for the full course.  If you fail to attend the first workshop of the course and do not email your reason for not attending, your name will be removed from the attendance list without notice to make space for those on the waiting list.
